Living Life To The Full with Rock Trust

What

Short course run in cooperation with Rock Trust, aimed at helping young people improve their mental health and wellbeing.

Running at the Rock Trust Hub, it will teach vulnerable young people the skills to tackle the problems in their life. The course will provide a safe and friendly environment in which to build self-esteem; learn coping mechanisms for low mood and stress; and explore ways of looking at life differently.

The course is free, and to be eligible the young person must be aged 16-21 and be: based in Edinburgh; looking to improve their overall wellbeing; have left school or disengaged with school; looking for new, creative activities; and keen to build confidence for future progression in education, employment and/or training.

The course will lead to Level 3 & 4 accredited certificates from Edinburgh College. Refreshments and bus tickets will be provided.

Who

When

The course usually runs one day a week for six to eight weeks. Upcoming dates: 3 October-7 November.
