Our Dundee service works with individuals with a previous offending or substance misuse history as a delivery partner of the All in Dundee Employability Pathway. Staff in Dundee work in close partnership with a range of statutory and third sector organisations to provide a needs-based service which supports people gain the skills and confidence they need to progress into training, education or employment.
Who
Individuals over the age of sixteen who live in Dundee, are unemployed and have complex needs such as a history of substance misuse or involvement with the criminal justice system.
When
We support individuals on a long term basis which is not restricted by time as we recognise the complex needs faced by many of our clients. Once an individual reaches their goals they remain supported by us for at least one year.
Why
Our Dundee service provides a range of supported learning and development opportunities which allows individuals working with us to grow and develop their skills and attributes in a positive way, aiding individuals with their recovery and/or moving on from offending behaviours.
Where
We deliver our services on an outreach basis in all communities across Dundee City. We also deliver weekly services from Friarfield House and Lochee Community Hub.
