We are excited to be able offer eligible Edinburgh parents a trio of new courses in the new year, through our Access Data Service, all starting on 21 February 2022:
The courses will be delivered in cooperation with Edinburgh College in Access to Industry’s Community College (156 Cowgate), or online (depending on the course). The aim is to equip participants with digital and data skills essential for life, education and work. All participants will also be supported by Access Data caseworkers, who will help them to tackle any issues in and out of the course.
Access Data is a project made for parents or those with parental responsibilities, living in Edinburgh, who are either unemployed or on a low income. They should also meet one of the following criteria – disabled/disabled child; minority ethnic background; lone parent; have three or more children; have a child under one; are themselves under 25. Additionally, we will offer spaces to veterans looking to upskill in data, regardless of their status (applies to Data Science courses only).
To apply, candidates (or professionals on their behalf) should fill out the Access Data Courses Application form 2022 and send it to MagdaGucman[at]accesstoindustry.co.uk, or get in touch via our Contact page.
