Our popular Beauty Basics course is back!

We’re excited to announce that our popular Beauty Basics course is set to return for autumn 2023. It will provide students with – as the title might suggest! – an introduction to the basics of all things beauty, and a pathway into the beauty industry.

The course will run on a Tuesday mornings (10:30am-1:30pm) for six weeks in our own Community College, with a proposed start date of Tuesday 29 August.

The course will place a focus on basic skincare; basic manicure; lash extensions; and eyebrow shaping, offering a mix of theory and practical. It is delivered by Michelle Kurkowski-Gibson, a practicing Beauty Therapist with Premier Aesthetics and an experienced college lecturer.

To be eligible, you should be unemployed and already part of an Access to Industry project, or eligible for a project. If you are new to Access to Industry, you can check your potential eligibility on the web-links here (adults) and here (young people), or call our admin on 0131 260 9721.
