Showcase of Creativity – photo gallery

Our first ever Showcase of Creativity, held last month in St Cecilia’s Hall, was attended by over 100 people, all coming together to witness the creative talents of the people we support! The event was put together by, and featured the work of, our students, taking in photography, artwork, writing, video, performance and writing workshops. Here’s a photo gallery giving a glimpse of the special day…

Guests were greeted on arrival by our welcome desk volunteers, where there was also a dress-up box and photo shoot area where they could have some fun and get into the celebratory spirit of the day:

Attendees were then free to browse the selection of photography, artwork and writing on display in the lower area of the building:

In the upper concert hall, guests were treated to a full schedule of live performance, including music, student readings, theatre, and poi spinning:

We were also thrilled to have local author Lucy Ribchester in attendance, discussing her new book, Murder Ballad:

Special thanks goes to St Cecilia’s Hall and The University of Edinburgh for being a valued partner and host venue for the event, as well as to Illuminate and Thrive for their support.
