Two Exciting New Projects for Edinburgh Parents!

Access to Industry is excited to announce two new projects designed to work with parents (or those with parental responsibilities) to help them move into education and/or employment.

Access Data

Our new project, Access Data, supports Edinburgh parents in gaining or improving knowledge and skills related to the world of data, preparing them for the demands of the contemporary job market. Tailored to the individual needs of parents, the project is made both for those with no previous interest in data, as well as those who already possess some knowledge and skills. Access Data aims at helping parents to overcome any challenges they might be facing to move into employment or progress in their current job. You can find more information here, or contact us if you have any questions.

Access Progress

Access Progress is an exciting new, employability service supporting unemployed parents and those with parental responsibilities living in Edinburgh.  We take a holistic approach to helping parents towards work by providing  education, training, vocational qualifications and employability advice, along with supporting health and wellbeing and personal development and providing practical knowledge to assist parents to overcome the challenges they face starting or returning to work.

We offer individual, tailored support which takes into account each families circumstances and barriers and deals, not only with employability, but also with the more practical and emotional side of going into the to the workplace, including benefits and finances, housing, childcare, life skills and confidence building.

Please get in touch if you, a family member or a client would like more information or to speak, in confidence, to a caseworker.
