Recruitment is now open for the next batch of our popular SQA-accredited, fully-funded Access Data courses, starting August 2025! The courses support individuals in gaining knowledge related to the world of data, equipping them with the digital and data skills essential for life, education and work.

Our new offering comprises Introduction to Data Skills (SCQF 3) and Introduction to Data Science with Excel (SCQF 4).

Prior to the course start all participants will be asked to register with Access to Industry’s Access Data programme (Access Data eligibility criteria applies – see here). All participants will also be supported by Access Data caseworkers, who can help them to tackle any issues in and out of the course and provide wider employability support.

To apply for any of the courses, candidates should fill out the Access Data Courses Application Form here. Being able to understand and fill out the online form will be treated as part of the recruitment process. The applications stage will be followed by short interviews to further assess course suitability.
