Catch our Wellbeing in the City exhibition – open until 31 Aug!

Don’t miss our Wellbeing in the City exhibition at the Museum of Edinburgh (142-146 Canongate, EH8 8DD), open until 31 August 2025. Inspired by places in and around Edinburgh that enhance wellbeing, it brings together photographs by our PAGE (Photo Arts Group Empowerment) and written pieces by our Creative Writing group.

For the exhibition, each participant has chosen a place in and around Edinburgh that makes them ‘feel good’. The PAGE photography group visited each place nominated to take photos and selected their favourites to present in the exhibition. The Creative Writing group have produced short pieces of writing about places or activities in Edinburgh that make them ‘feel well’.

Created by the students, the intention of the exhibition is to be able to share these special places with an audience, encouraging locals and visitors to Edinburgh alike to explore and share in the sense of wellness they bring.

Every location is free to visit and on public transport links. Exhibition partner Museums and Galleries Edinburgh have created an online version of the exhibition, mapping each location – check it out here: http://bit.ly/4foxxPJ.

The students have also been leading a selection of tours and workshops over the summer, details of the remaining events here.

The Museum of Edinburgh is open Mon-Sun, 10am-5pm (last entry 4:30pm). Free entry.
