In-person course in which students will learn about all aspects of Digital Media. Students do not need to have any previous experience, only enthusiasm for the subject and a dedication to turn up each week.
The format will be tutorial-led classes in our Cowgate Community College, delivered by a dedicated Edinburgh College lecturer, and covering the following SQA Units:
The Course will incorporate practical sessions going out and recording still images/moving images/sound. By end of the course each student will have produced a short film on a subject that matters to them.
Participants must be of working age and not currently in education or employment. They must also meet other specific entry requirements. Contact us, or speak to your Caseworker for more details.
The course usually runs one day a week for 20 weeks. Recruitment opens July 2024 for August 2024 intake.
Teaches students all about Digital Media, whilst encouraging a sense of commitment to a longer course and the achievement of producing a piece of work by the end.
