Driving Theory

What

Our Driving Theory drop-in sessions are open to students engaging with one of our employability services, who are looking to gain a driving licence to support their employment goals. This may include strengthening their CV, accessing driving-related job opportunities, or overcoming mobility barriers that affect their ability to work.

The sessions focus on self-directed study, with a caseworker available to provide support when needed. The drop-in offers a safe space in which to study for the DVSA Driving Theory test for car drivers. Students can practice multiple choice and hazard perception using the official DVSA Driving Theory software. The aim is to help students reach the stage where they are ready to sit the DVSA Driving Theory Test.

Please note that we do not provide practical driving lessons.
