We are pleased to announce that recruitment is now open for the next batch of our popular Access Data courses, starting in August 2024! The courses support individuals in gaining or improving knowledge and skills related to the world of data. Crucially, they help equip attendees with the vital skills that are increasingly in demand with employers, in education, and as a part of our everyday lives.

Our new offering comprises in-person courses Introduction to Digital Skills, Introduction to Data Science with Excel and Introduction to Data Storytelling with Excel, plus flexible online learning Introduction to Digital and Data Innovation.

In the academic year 2024/25, we will additionally support recruitment for the Edinburgh College Professional Development Award in Data Science course (SCQF level 7).

Prior to the course start all participants will be asked to register with Access to Industry’s Access Data programme (Access Data eligibility criteria applies – see here), which will give them access to a dedicated caseworker to additionally help with any issues they may face in or out of the course.
