EdinMe is a service for people aged 16-21 with emerging and entrenched mental health issues affecting their progression towards sustained employment. Through 1:1 appointments, group work and an embedded employability focus, the project will support young people to improve their mental health and achieve positive outcomes.
Access to Industry’s Passport CashBack programme will provide a service for young people aged 16 to 22 in HMP YOI Polmont that increases their employability skills prior to liberation. On liberation from Polmont, it will support them into jobs, college and training. The project will consider all young people in Polmont as having the potential to build skills towards employment, regardless of length of sentence.
This service supports adults of working age living within Midlothian and East Lothian who are in recovery from substance misuse and looking to progress into education, training and employment. It is delivered in partnership with Edinburgh College, which supplies tutors.
Shine is a national mentoring service for women offenders. It is delivered in prison prior to release or in the community if a person is serving a Community Payback Order (CPO).
