Sneak peek at our EdinMe summer programme!

We recognise the importance of a holistic approach in helping people achieve their goals, so during the summer months a number of our services offer a special programme of trips and activities focused on getting outdoors and experiencing new things with peers.

Our young people’s service, EdinMe, has a particularly fun summer programme lined up – activities include Geocaching, attending shows at the Edinburgh Festival, and trips to the Royal Yacht Britannia, Edinburgh Zoo, Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, and Craigies Farm.

Participants will also have the opportunity to work towards Level 3 SQA qualifications in ‘Local Investigations’ and ‘Working With Others’ at the same time, perfect for bolstering their CV.

EdinMe is a Service for young people aged 16-21 (up to 25, if care experienced) living in Edinburgh and experiencing complex barriers to education, training or employment in areas such as mental health, criminal justice, substance use or homelessness. If you meet EdinMe’s eligibility criteria, then you meet the summer programme’s criteria.

You can contact the EdinMe team – LauraBucke@accesstoindustry.co.uk, LaurenMcCann@accesstoindustry.co.uk or AndyBracken@accesstoindustry.co.uk – for more information or for a referral form.
