Our popular Living Life to the Full (LLTTF) course will return for autumn, with sessions running for young people experiencing mental health issues in Edinburgh (as part of our EdinMe service and in co-operation with the Rock Trust) and for adults in recovery from addiction in Dundee (as part of our Access Recovery Dundee service). Both courses will run on Tuesdays for six weeks, from 3 October-7 November.
As a charity aimed at delivering real transformative change, we recognise that group activities with peers can reduce isolation and help individuals overcome personal difficulties, leading to more positive outcomes. LLTTF is a course specifically aimed at supporting people to improve their mental health and wellbeing.
The course teaches vulnerable people the skills to tackle the problems in their life. It provides a safe and friendly environment in which to focus on: confidence and self-esteem; coping mechanisms for low mood and stress; essential ‘life’ skills like time and money management; social interaction skills like communication and teamwork; and more.
The course will give participants the tools they need to create a happier, healthier and more assertive version of themselves in order to live their life to the full!
