Screening of our Digital Media students' films at Filmhouse!

We were so proud to visit the newly-reopened Filmhouse cinema in Edinburgh to host the first – and what will be annual – screening of our Access: Digital Media students' short films.

The Access: Digital Media course is run in collaboration with Edinburgh College over one semester. This batch of students were taught by Edinburgh College tutor and filmmaker James Thomson, who guided the first-time directors through the planning, shooting and editing process to produce their own unique documentary short.

For the special private screening, the students were invited to attend with their family and friends, and each student received their very own award (see main image) in a recognisable golden-faced 'BAFTA' style!

A special 'thank you' goes to the Filmhouse's Learning and Engagement Officer, Maili Fraser, for organising the event, and to the projection team for making the finished work look and sound so great on the big screen.
